About our Firm

Background

Paul B. Shane, CPA APC has been in the Westlake Village area for over 40 years.

Our CPA firm works closely with a wide variety of professional clients and their team of key advisers: attorneys, financial advisors, insurance professionals, bankers/lenders, and pension administrators.

 

Our Mission

Our goal is to assist the client by using their team of professionals to maximize profitability, achieve their financial and professional goals and minimize income and estate taxes.

We proactively and creatively work with clients to improve their professional practices, including their profitability, billing and collection systems, buy-in and buy-out strategies, practice purchase and sales transactions, and associate agreements. We become experts in our clients' businesses.

We also help clients with their retirement planning by using a combination of plans (401k, money purchase, tiered profit sharing and defined benefit) to insure that the client maximizes both the total contribution and the amount that they receive.

Year-end tax planning is very important to us. No one likes surprises when they receive their tax return.

Estate planning and Financial planning are ongoing in our office. Our team of professionals constantly work with clients to make sure that their plans remain current and relevant.

We are approved by the State of California as a trustee and conservator. We prepare all reports required by the probate courts.

Daunne M Fraley, CPA

Daunne has a BS in accounting from California State University, Northridge

She has worked in public accounting for 25 years and brings to us a very strong background in accounting and tax compliance

Alla Tok

Senior Accountant - Alla has a BS in accounting from Brooklyn College

She has been working as a staff accountant for over 30 years. She has a background in QuickBooks accounting and works with our business clients for accounting and tax needs.

Marcia Keyes

Assistant - Marcy has been with us for 20 years. She has an AS from Oxnard City College and a Certificate in Legal Assisting.

She works with our trust and conservatorship clients and prepares all of the accounting required by the Probate Court. She has a background in personal and commercial property management. Marcy is an integral part of our team during tax season, doing scheduling, review and e-filing. During the remainder of the year, she is in charge of our business and personal management department
